Kindy Room
2.5 years to 3.5 years
The staff ratios in this room are 3 staff members and 21 children. One of the main aims of the Kindy room is to develop children’s self help skills along with emotional and cognitive skills.
Interests of the children are observed by the staff and then facilitated through hands on experiences, group activities and language times. In this age group a major focus is on team work, development of the attention span and encouraging children to problem solve as both individuals and as part of a group.
